This privacy policy describes how and when we (Jade Leonard trading as A Fortunate Event) collect, use and share your information when you purchase an item from us, contact us, or otherwise use our services through our website.

To fulfill your order, you provide us with certain information (which you authorize or PayPal provide to us), which may include your name, email address, postal address, payment information and the details of the product that you’re ordering. How we collect this data
This data is provided to A Fortunate Event at the ordering process or PayPal. We receive the details saved to your account at the time of ordering. Information is then stored in our website and PayPal account, so that we can dispatch your order to the correct address. We also receive emails from PayPal, Stripe and our Online Store confirming a purchase has been made and the address you have requested we send your order to.
Information sharing and disclosure:
We share your information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
– Compliance laws – we may collect, use, retain and share your information if we have good faith or belief that is reasonably necessary to

Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary
to provide you with our services. However, we may also be required

obligations, to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
How we keep your data secure?
Data stored digitally:
This information collected during the ordering/checkout process is stored in our website and PayPal account.
PayPal have renewed their GDPR policies to abide with new laws in place, effective 25th May 2018.
We employ security measures on all our devices to ensure data is stored securely. Devices in our possession that have access to our
password protected website and PayPal accounts are as follows:
-Laptop – password protected
-Phone – passcode protected – auto lock screen
-Tablet – passcode protected – auto Lock Screen
Data stored as a hard copy:
Any information stored as a hard copy is locked away and shredded after two years.
Your Rights
If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in
certain limited cases. WE describe these rights below:
– Access – You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the contact information below
